For the Merky project, I created a short documentary focused on reclaiming Black narratives, working closely with a small team to bring these stories to life. I took on multiple roles, from directing to editing, ensuring that every element—visuals, interviews, and pacing—felt authentic and impactful. Using Adobe Premiere Pro, I refined the footage, adjusted the color grading to match the tone, and layered in sound design to enhance the storytelling. This project was more than just filmmaking; it was about representation, giving space to voices that deserve to be heard.
